INFALL

Privacy policy

INFALL collects as little as it can. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

Last updated 19 October 2026. INFALL is made by Leland Rangel.

On your device

Your progress (salvage, upgrades, ships, goals, best scores) and your settings are saved on your own device. They never leave it, except through your platform's own backup or cloud save if you use one (iCloud, Steam Cloud).

The leaderboards

The leaderboards are optional. The game asks once whether you'd like to post your scores, and nothing is sent unless you say yes. If you do, each run sends:

The leaderboard server also sees your internet address, as every website does. The leaderboard doesn't keep it: it keeps only a one-way scrambled form, to stop one address flooding the boards, and that can't be turned back into the address. The web host may keep ordinary server logs for a short while, as hosts do.

Your name and scores are shown publicly on the leaderboards, in the game and on this site. They're kept on a server run by Hostinger for games.lelandrangel.com, and they're never sold or shared with anyone else.

If you report a name on a leaderboard, the report and your game's random ID are kept so the name can be looked at.

Buying the game

Purchases go through the store you buy from (the App Store, itch.io or Steam). INFALL never sees your payment details; each store's own privacy policy covers them.

Children

INFALL isn't aimed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect anything from them. A leaderboard name is the only thing a player types, and names that are rude are replaced.

Taking your scores off

To have your name and scores removed from the leaderboards, get in touch through the support page with the name you used. They'll be removed.

Changes

If what the game collects ever changes, this page will say so first, with a new date at the top.
